An incredible movie idea came to me last night in a dream...

...It was so original, so visionary, and so ridiculously-dreamlike (in a good way) that I think it may actually work.

Now I've just got to find a way to describe it in words to match the way I saw it.

Pertaining to my dream:

The US has fallen. Our entire Republic government as we know it is descending into chaos. Our enemies start to step foot on our soil, taking advantage of the situation. A group of American soldier deserters steal a chopper and flee. To where? They don't know yet. They go down over an area that is part desert and part forest, while unknown aircraft control the skies above.

Before you say, "Well, that's not original. How many times have we saw something like that before?" let me guarantee you that you haven't seen anything like this before if I ever get to lay my "touch" to it. This is where the dreamlike and visionary aspects come into play. Things you'd never expect to happen... happen. The group finds and does things that you'd NEVER expect, no matter how many movies you've seen before and no matter if you think you've got every movie-cliche figured out completely. You'd definitely saw, "WTF?" more than a few times while watching this film... but in a very good and entertaining way.

It'd surprise me if anything like this has struck Hollywood before.

What I dreamt last night... you can't imagine how difficult it is to put it into words that make sense 100%. It's mindboggling, and something that I'm going to be pondering for months to come, providing that I get it somewhat figured out in that length of time.
